Aurora and Astro photography workshops

For individuals or groups of up to four people.  3 hour sessions run from the Bass Coast Shire region (Phillip Island, Kilcunda or Inverloch).   Learn the basics of Aurora Australis, Milky Way and Light Painting photography.   Tips on manual and bulb settings, learn how to take and make star trails and time-lapses.  Reading of  astronomical conditions, weather conditions and aurora predicting guages.  Tips on setting up you gear and location.  And how to  edit in lightroom – and much more.    WHAT TO BRING..  ▪︎ Camera and lens ▪︎ Sturdy Tripod • Shutter remote (recommended) • Warm clothing • Boots • Head tourch • Smart device • Any other gear of choice • Any personal medication. Ensure batteries are charged prior. We meet about 45 minutes before dark, giving time for quick introductions and to get to a location and set up before astronomical twilight. A meeting location map will be forwarded prior to workshop.

Hot drinks and snacks provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements.

Costs..

3 hour Aurora & Astro Workshop $165 for singe person, $50 each extra participant. 4 people maximum.

100% refund with up to 48 hours notification. 50% under 48 hours.
